Faculty of Impact processes your personal data because you make use of our services and/or because you provide us with this data yourself.

Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we process:

  • – The university at which you are active
  • – Other personal data that you actively provide us with through, for example, creating a profile on this website, in correspondence or by telephone.

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website and/or service does not have the intention to collect data from website visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have their parents’ or guardians’ consent. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is over the age of 16. Therefore, we recommend parents to pay attention to the online activities of their children in order to prevent that children’s data is collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data of a minor without that consent, please contact us at privacy@facultyofimpact.nl so we can delete this information.

The aim and grounds for processing personal data

Faculty of Impact processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • – Sending out our newsletter and/or advertising brochure
  • – Calling or sending you an email in the case this is necessary to execute our services
  • – Informing you about changes in our services and products
  • – Faculty of Impact analyses your behavior when you visit the website in order to improve the website and to cater the offer of products and services to your preferences

How long we retain personal data

Faculty of Impact retains your personal data no longer than is strictly necessary to realize the objectives that your data was collected for. We will store your personal data until you request to have your contact details removed.

Faculty of Impact exclusively provides to third parties and only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Apart from that, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent to your data being processed or to object to the processing of your data by Faculty of Impact, and you have the right to data portability. That means that you can submit a request to us to send you the personal data that we have of you in a computer file.

You can submit a request for inspection, correction, deletion, or transfer of your personal data or a request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to privacy@facultyofimpact.nl.

To be sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identification in your request. Blacken your photograph, MRZ (machine readable zone, the row of numbers on the bottom of the passport), passport number, and BSN (social security number) in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will answer your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

How we secure personal data

Faculty of Impact takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, undesired publication, and unauthorized modification.
